Project Duration
30 days
Deliverables
Lead generation landing page

Background

Meta aims to become the leader in the Future of Work by hiring people quickly from different countries and increasing the number of candidates. This project aims to make Meta an attractive workplace, especially for underrepresented groups, and emphasize the benefits of remote working in the EMEA region.

Task

The task is to construct a new page within the CMS utilizing Meta's internal design components. As a developer, I worked collaboratively with the design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure the webpage met stakeholder expectations.

Competitors

Meta's remote work offering is unique compared to big tech companies like Google, Apple, Amazon, and TikTok, which require employees to spend a certain amount of time in the office. This could help Meta attract new employees.

Target audience

The primary target audience is highly skilled and experienced engineers who are more open to remote working. The campaign's messaging is tailored to resonate with this group while considering that the campaign may be used for other departments in the future.

Metrics

The campaign's success will be measured by the number of applications from the target audience, interested candidates, job offers, and engagement with Meta's career website and ads. Recruiters will also provide feedback on the campaign's effectiveness, and social media metrics will be monitored to evaluate its impact on the company's brand.

Timing

The original launch date for the EMEA Remote page was scheduled for October 2022. However, due to economic challenges, the launch was deferred until the outlook for the upcoming months is better understood.

Conclusion

The EMEA Remote page will help Meta attract highly skilled and experienced engineers by emphasizing the benefits of remote working in the EMEA region. The campaign's success will be measured by the number of applications received and engagement with the career website and ads. As a developer, I collaborated with other teams to ensure that the EMEA Remote page met stakeholder expectations and followed Meta's design guidelines.
